Placing an order

Our different order types explained

There are three different 'buy button' options used in Lady Coventry shop. These correspond with our different order types:

Pre order

Since we try to eliminate waste in our production cycle we are reluctant to produce products in advance. During the Pre order period dresses can be Pre ordered against a reduced price. After the Pre order period has expired, the production is initiated. In this way we can fully benefit from the advantages of scale increase, while using a reversed production cycle.

Make me one

This applies to made to order products that are ordered outside the pre order period, but are still in season. This also applies to our signature styles that will be available for ordering regardless of season. 

Add to bag

This means that we hold stock for this product and it can be shipped right away. 

 

Customer account

 A customer account is not mandatory to place an order in the Lady Coventry store.

An advantage of a customer account can be that if you use another payment method than PayPal, your address is stored for future checkouts. Another advantage could be that you have a clear overview of your Lady Coventry purchases in one place.


Payment

Applicable methods

You can use any of the payment types listed below to pay for your order.

  • PayPal
  • Visa

  • iDEAL

Time of payment

Since most of our products are made to order, the following terms apply:

  • Half of the product price is due at the time of order placement.
  • The other half of the product price + shipping cost (if applicable) is due at time of shipping.

Security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe and secure the complete website, including the checkout section, uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Your credit card information, if applicable, is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After the payment transaction is completed, this information is deleted. This information is therefore also not stored in your customer account.


Shipping information

Orders are shipped worldwide.
When your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirmation containing your delivery tracking number with an estimated delivery window.
Please be aware that we cannot deliver to post office boxes.

Lady Coventry Insiders, customers who are enlisted to our Newsletter, are entitled FREE shipping regardless destination country.


Tax information

Applicable for shipments to EU countries

For shipments with a destination within the EU VAT area, VAT is included in the Product price. No customs duties apply. The VAT amount calculated is, as in compliance with the applicable Regulations, the Dutch VAT percentage (21%).


Applicable for shipment to Non EU countries

For shipments with a destination outside the EU, duties and VAT are not included in the price, nor will these expenses be included at the time of checkout.

There may be local duties and taxes incurred on your order depending on the destination country. You may be required to pay these import duties and taxes to the courier on delivery. Please contact your local customs office for further information.


Returning an item

We hope that you are pleased with your order. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied, you can return any purchases within 14 days of receipt.

How to arrange a return

  • Contact customercare@ladycoventry.com and request a return shipment.
  • Our shipping team will arrange the return delivery with our courier services and will email instructions and all required paperwork for your return shipment.

Return requirements

  • Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
  • Item(s) must be returned the original condition received. Any returned products which are damaged, soiled, or altered may not be accepted. 
  • Item(s) must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other signature packaging materials, including hanging tags. Please note that the packaging is considered as an integrated part of the product.
If the conditions as detailed above are not met for any returned items we shall notify you by e-mail. In such a case, you may have the option to have the products returned to you at your expense. If you refuse to accept the return delivery, we reserve the right to retain the products and the amount paid for the original order.


Return refunds

Refunds will be processed 48 hours after the items are returned and inspected by us.
